Refund & Cancellation Policy – Restel Guest House

At Restel Guest House, we understand that travel plans may change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which cancellations, refunds, and no-shows are handled.

1. Cancellation by Guest

  • Free Cancellation: Cancellations made 24 hours before check-in time are eligible for a full refund.

  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in will be charged one night’s room tariff.

  • Same-day Cancellation: No refund will be provided for same-day cancellations.

2. No-Show Policy

If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice:

  • The booking will be treated as a no-show

  • No refund will be issued

  • The room may be released for resale

3. Early Check-Out

  • Guests checking out earlier than the confirmed departure date are not eligible for a refund for unused nights.

4. Advance Payments & Refund Method

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original mode of payment only.

  • Refund processing time is typically 7–10 working days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.

  • Any transaction or gateway charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.

5. Booking Platform Policies

  • For bookings made through third-party platforms (such as online travel agencies), the respective platform’s cancellation and refund policy will apply.

  • Restel Guest House will not be responsible for delays caused by third-party booking platforms.

6. Modification of Booking

  • Date changes or booking modifications are subject to room availability and current tariff differences.

  • Modified bookings may be treated as new bookings for cancellation purposes.

7. Cancellation by Hotel

In rare cases where Restel Guest House is unable to honor a confirmed booking due to unavoidable circumstances:

  • Guests will receive a full refund, or

  • Assistance in arranging an alternative stay (subject to availability)

8. Force Majeure

No refunds shall be applicable for cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government regulations or lockdowns

  • Strikes, riots, or public emergencies

9. Policy Changes

Restel Guest House reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
